Motec’s current lambda sensor of choice is the Bosch LSU 4.9. It is an accurate, low cost wideband sensor that is more robust and longer lasting than the previous LSU 4.2. Motec also sells the Lambda to CAN and Dual Lambda to CAN units to log as many sensors as you would like.
Motec carries the Bosch 280 style temperature sensors for liquids and air. They have been used reliably in the OEM world for decades!
Motec carries both air and fluid pressure sensors, both of which we think are accurate and robust, but we also carry our own pressure sensors. For MAP sensors we prefer a Denso unit as opposed to the GM style sensor. For fluids we carry a sensor that is nearly identical to Motec’s but has a -3AN male fitting machined on the housing. The Motec sensor needs an adapter which is one more potential leak point.
A TMAP is a combination air temperature and MAP sensor. It is a compact solution that has been showing up on recent OEM vehicles. It’s also cheap!
Both a robust boost control solenoid and a Bosch 2 wire idle control valve are available.
